  • Product Safety Statement

iClick maintains our commitment to product safety through a committee established and overseen by our President. The Product Safety Committee is charged with evaluating products for safety concerns, researching and updating our proceses for compliance with applicable regulations and ensuring best practices are adhered to in the product we ship our customers.

Our product testing focuses on the following standards:

  • Our technology products are tested to comply with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and its subsequent amendments, which deals with the chemical content in the materials of the product. The test is specifically for lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium and PBBs/PBDEs.
  • FCC/CE Certification for USB drives
  • CPSIA Total Lead content in substrate and Phthalates for PVC custom shape raw materials
  • CPSIA Total Lead content in surface coating for imprint inks and pens

  • We require all of our factories to provide product safety testing reports showing compliance to applicable standards for USB drives and pens.

While iClick products are considered general use, iClick has identified a number of products in our line as appropriate for children. Third party testing to applicable standards along with the Children's Product Certificate can be made available for these designated products.

We cannot test every piece of every order for the nearly 800 chemicals listed in Prop 65. Distributors with concern about Prop 65 should request that a warning label be applied to each product, which we will include at no additional cost.

    California Proposition 65 Compliance

Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a California ballot initiative in November 1986. The Proposition was intended by its authors to protect California citizens and the State's drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and to inform citizens about exposures to such chemicals. The statute states tha "no person in the course of doing business shall knowingly and intentionally expose any individual to a chemical known to the state (California) to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity without first giving a clear and reasonable warning..."
For more information about California's Prop 65, please click here.

iClick is committed to providing safe and compliant products for our customers. Our products and decorating inks meet applicable Federal requirements for lead content and to our knowledge do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would require a Proposition 65 warning label. However, we cannot test every piece of every order for the nearly 800 chemicals listed in Prop 65. Distributors with concern about Prop 65 should request that a warning label be applied to each product, which we will include at no additional charge. The warning label as shown below will ensure compliance with California Proposition 65 regulatory requirements:

Warning: This product may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Distributors must specifically request that the warning label be applied when submitting their order. If buyer and/or distributor fail to provide iClick with advance written notice indicating that prop 65 labels are required, then buyer and/or distributor will indemnify and hold harmless iClick, its agents, employees, and affiliated companies from and against all claims (including, without limitation, violation of Prop 65, personal injury and property damage) and from all other costs, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including, without limitation, attorney fees, costs, and litigation expense).
